President and Founder, Richard J. Shaw
Rich Shaw, founder of LogiCore Strategies and a certified public accountant (CPA), has worked in business and finance for more than 27 years, serving as CFO and COO for 20 years for various U.S. and foreign companies in industries such as manufacturing, service, real estate, high-tech and biotech.
After graduating from Le Moyne College, Rich started his career at a national, Big Six public accounting firm in Syracuse, NY. He later went on to spend 10 years at a startup company where he developed financial strategies, built and implemented internal systems and managed business finances, which enabled the fledgling company to grow quickly into a profitable business. Before founding LogiCore Strategies in 2014, Rich also helped turn around two distressed, family-owned businesses and served as COO for a family-owned firm.
As founder of LogiCore Strategies, Rich has worked side-by-side with multiple US and foreign-based companies, assisting with fundraising, completing SEC filings and aiding the development of offering materials, registration statements, investor presentations and investor meetings. With a well-developed network, LogiCore Strategies bridges the gap between U.S. and foreign-based operating companies and NYC investment bankers, attorneys, venture capital and private equity firms, and high net worth individuals to provide financial support, advisory services, and access to the US capital markets.
Having completed nearly $100 million in transactions as a CFO, Rich Shaw is well-versed in raising common stock, convertible debt, senior debt, leases and vendor financing, mergers and acquisitions, stock tender offers and shareholder consolidations, selling non-core assets and creating exits for founders, owners, investors and senior lenders.
